- The male must submit the documents for permission of second marriage when it comes to court marriage / online nikah.

- Having two witnesses of marriage who have their CNICs or passports for verifying their details during the court marriage is required.
- Both males and females who have been previously divorced must provide the union council with a copy of their Divorce Certificate.
- Those who may be widows or widowers need to submit a Death Certificate for their deceased partner(s).
