Online Marriage in Karachi

Online Marriage in Karachi can help eligible couples arrange a remote or proxy Nikah and related registration through our Karachi offices, including assistance with the registered Nikah Nama and computerised Marriage Registration Certificate (MRC) where applicable.

Is Online Marriage Legally Valid in Karachi?

Remote or proxy Nikah may be arranged where there is free consent, legal eligibility and compliance with the religious requirements applicable to the parties. Where a party cannot attend, a Vakeel (proxy) may be appointed through an appropriate Wakalatnama. The marriage must then be properly documented and registered under section 5 of the Muslim Family Laws Ordinance 1961 through the authorised Nikah Registrar and competent local authority.

How Online Marriage Registration Works in Karachi

  1. Send your details. Share both parties’ CNIC/NICOP or passport details and confirm your preferred date.
  2. Appoint a Vakeel, if needed. Where one party cannot attend, an appropriate Wakalatnama may be used to appoint a proxy.
  3. The Nikah ceremony. Our Nikah Khawan conducts the ceremony at our Karachi office or another agreed location in accordance with the applicable religious requirements, and the Nikah Nama is completed.
  4. Registration. Registration is handled through the authorised Nikah Registrar and competent Union Council/local authority in Karachi.
  5. Documents. We assist with the registered Nikah Nama and, where applicable, the computerised MRC. Private preparation may be prompt, but official registration and certificate processing times depend on the authority and document completeness.

No. Depending on the case and the procedure accepted by the registrar, an absent party may appoint a Vakeel and may also participate by video for identity or consent confirmation.
