Is Online Nikah Valid?
Yes. Nikah requires the free consent of both parties and two witnesses — not physical presence in the same room. A party unable to attend appoints a Vakeel (proxy) through a Wakalatnama, exactly as described in our main Online Nikah Service guide.
What Happens at the Ceremony
- Ijab-o-Qabool (offer and acceptance) is conducted by our Nikah Khawan (Qazi)
- Khutba-e-Nikah is recited
- Two witnesses (and the Vakeel, where applicable) sign the Nikah Nama
- Mahr (dower) is recorded as agreed between the parties
